The Bucium Monastery keeps the tradition of commemorating deceased services   at daily Liturgy and at the  Saturday requiems, excepting the Saturdays when are no memorial services and they are specified in the calendar.

When someone in a family or a known person dies, every believer has a duty to pray for the deceased but also to give a diptych, to be commemorated during 40 liturgies.

These liturgies are the most important prayers that are made ​​for the dead, for them to be part of God's mercy and to be received in heavens.

After forty days after death, we keep  a special ceremony after the Liturgy, in wich  the believer who gave the dypthic is obliged to attend it and he has to
